New appointment at cerebral palsy charity
26 October 2026
We have appointed a new Grants and Trusts Fundraiser to work across our centres in Wallasey and Runcorn.
Becca Tomlinson, 26, who lives in Liverpool, joins us after several years working in the charity sector, most recently at a young peopleโs mental health charity in the city.
Becca says,
I grew up on the Wirral and I am surrounded by friends and family who are all very familiar with the amazing work Stick โnโ Step does so I am really thrilled to be a part of this charity now. I see the children and young people coming into the centres every day for their conductive education sessions and so I am witnessing at firsthand the impact of all the work we do, which is such a privilege.
Iโm a keen runner, so Iโm looking forward to the Santa Dash in December and the team is already trying to persuade me to sign up for next yearโs Tough Mudder too. Itโs such a friendly and welcoming community!
Sarah Smithson, our CEO, said,
This is a really tough time for charities so we are excited about the wealth of experience, enthusiasm and fresh ideas that Becca has already demonstrated just in her first few days with us. We are so pleased to welcome her on board!
