Current Vacancies

Head of Fundraising

Are you a current or aspiring fundraising leader looking to make a tangible and significant impact? Then you need to take a look at the life-changing outcomes we deliver for children living with cerebral palsy.

Could you be our next Head of Fundraising?

We are currently improving day-to-day life for over 100 families in the North West by helping children gain their independence, boost their self-confidence and reach their individual potential.  With your help nurturing the fundraising team, they could do more.

Stick ‘n’ Step is looking for a dynamic Head of Fundraising to lead and grow a small team of three fundraisers, taking day-to-day responsibility for the fundraising strategy.  Reporting directly into and working closely alongside the CEO, you’ll work across income streams with real potential to grow sustainable income by fostering a culture of confidence; encouraging the team to identify, nurture and embed long-term relationships – both new and existing.

Ideally, you’ll have knowledge and experience of leading community and corporate income streams, as these have been identified as potential growth spots for the charity.  You’ll also have oversight of trusts and individual giving, so this could be a phenomenal step-up opportunity for the right candidate into their first Head of role. Of course, we'd also love to speak to seasoned professionals interested in making a big impact for a local cause.  All welcome to apply!

Most importantly, you’re a caring, compassionate and inspiring leader who knows how to get the best from a team with diverse skills and needs.  You’re able to identify and maximise opportunities, working both strategically and operationally, and can demonstrate income growth in previous roles.

Flexible, life and family-friendly employer.  With our centres in Wallasey and Runcorn, you will be based where the amazing work happens so you can really feel the impact your contribution is having. There is also the opportunity to work flexibly and from home.  A friendly, happy place to be where people really enjoy coming to work.
