Call for supporters to join our team of blue Santas at this year's Liverpool Santa Dash

We are encouraging runners, joggers and walkers of all ages to join our team at the Liverpool Santa Dash on Sunday 6th December.

This year we will be leading the way in a sea of blue. Santa Dash participants can choose a red or blue Santa suit, and our team will all be wearing blue in memory of Mason, a much-loved little boy who attended conductive education sessions with us and sadly passed away last year. Mason’s family have taken part in the Santa Dash for years and Mason himself was a huge Everton fan so our team's blue suits are a tribute to him.

Joining the team on the start line will be our CEO, Sarah Smithson, who is taking part in the Santa Dash for the first time since 2009. Sarah said,

The Santa Dash is one of the most joyful days in our calendar. It feels right to be back on the start line after all these years, especially this year. Mason meant so much to everyone at Stick 'n' Step, and wearing blue is our way of remembering him. We'd love as many people as possible to join us, whether you run, jog or walk. Every person who signs up and raises sponsorship is helping to keep our doors open for the families who rely on us.

It costs £1,000 a day to keep one of our centres open. Every pound raised through the Santa Dash goes directly towards the weekly conductive education sessions that help children and young people with cerebral palsy build independence, confidence and movement skills.

The Liverpool Santa Dash takes place on Sunday 6 December. The main 5k fun run starts at 9.30am from Canada Boulevard at the Pier Head (waterfront by the Liver Building). The mini dash 1k for children up to 12 years old starts at 11.00am on Castle Street.
