Call for 40 walkers to mark 40 years of the Wirral Walk
01 June 2026
Local residents are being encouraged to lace up their walking shoes and warm up for this year’s Wirral Walk, which is taking place on Sunday 7th June.
As the popular event is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, we are looking to recruit 40 walkers to each raise £40. Funds raised will go towards helping children and young people across the region with cerebral palsy. Every step taken will help support our vital work, providing specialist sessions that improve mobility, confidence and independence for children and their families.
Participants of all ages and abilities are invited to get involved, enjoy the scenic Wirral coastline and raise funds for a worthwhile cause. The event is organised by the Mid Wirral Rotary Club.

As we celebrate 40 years of the Wirral Walk, we’re calling on the community to come together and make a real difference. By taking part and raising just £40, walkers will directly help local children thrive.
