In 2019 (THE LAST TIME THE REAL WALK TOOK PLACE) an estimated 2000 walkers took part raising much needed funds for their chosen charities and good causes. The 2022 Walk follows the Wirral coastline from the Floral Pavilion at New Brighton to Wirral Country Park Visitor Centre at Thurstaston, a distance of 12.5 miles.

It is a fun event for walkers of all ages and abilities. Its main attraction, apart from the exercise and the opportunity to view the beautiful Wirral coastline, is that Walkers can raise money through sponsorship for the charity or ‘good cause’ of their own choosing. For many local organisations and charities such as Stick 'n' Step, the Walk has become a significant event in their fundraising calendar.

Why choose Stick ‘n’ Step?

Stick ‘n’ Step receives no government funding, we rely greatly on supporters signing up to events like the Wirral Coastal Walk. Without the bravery and courage of supporters like you signing up to these epic challenges and raising sponsorship, we would be unable to continue our vital work providing life changing support to the children and young adults that attend Stick ‘n’ Step. The sponsorship money you raise will help to fund and deliver our services to over 100 families across the north west each year.
