If you think you have what it takes to become Stick ‘n’ Step’s Strictly dance champion 2025 and you love the idea of taking part in a glitzy and glamorous black tie event, to help raise much-needed funds for our charity, please call Norma on 07711 133 284, or email fundraising@sticknstep.org. No dance experience is necessary!

We are very pleased to announce the appointment of a new Trustee. Janet Ratcliffe, who worked for us as Trusts and Grants Fundraiser before her retirement, has returned in a voluntary capacity as a Trustee for the charity she says has remained very close to her heart ever since.

Janet, who lives in Heswall, has worked in the region all her life, including working extensively for charities across Cheshire and Merseyside for over 25 years.

Our CEO, Sarah Smithson, says,

Janet’s experience in charity fundraising made her an invaluable member of our team for many years. We have always kept in touch with her and I am delighted we have persuaded her to return as a Trustee, where her depth and breadth of experience and expertise will make a huge contribution to helping us meet our strategic objectives.

Commenting on her new role, Janet says,

I was surprised and very flattered to be invited to be a trustee of this incredible charity. It is wonderful to be back! I am particularly excited about Stick ‘n’ Step’s new Early Intervention Programme, which is already transforming the lives of babies and very young children with cerebral palsy. I am really looking forward to working with the hard-working and committed Board of Trustees.

There are many ways you can get involved with Stick ‘n’ Step. Find out more here.
