We're on the lookout for friendly local spots – newsagents, pubs, chip shops (or anywhere else!) – to host our Stick ‘n’ Step collection tins.

If you or someone you know can pop a tin on the counter, get in touch at fundraising@sticknstep.org – let’s do something amazing together! 🙌✨

Our annual Christmas party took place on Sunday at Thornton Hall Hotel, with around 160 guests partying the afternoon away. The festive celebration was for children and young people who attend our two centres in Runcorn and Wallasey, and their families. As well as party food and disco dancing, the children also enjoyed having their faces painted, temporary tattoos, and a whole host of party games, including a ‘snowball’ fight, plate spinning and much more.

Every child who attends Stick ‘n’ Step had the chance to meet the special guest, Father Christmas, and receive their very own gift. The party was once again funded thanks to the generosity of the Gould Family Charitable Trust.

Sarah Smithson, our CEO, said,

We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who made our lovely Christmas party a real day to remember. The Gould Family Charitable Trust provided the funding, and a whole host of other people contributed their time and skills to make the whole party extra special. The children, their families, and all our staff who attended had a wonderful time and it was a lovely way to start the festive celebrations!
