Get ready for the Big Give for Stick ‘n’ Step

This Christmas, anyone looking to fundraise for or donate to us will have the opportunity to have their donations doubled at no extra cost, thanks to a special match funding initiative.
The Big Give Christmas Challenge, which takes place for a week in December, is a seven day online match funding campaign. Payments made to us during this period, via a particular link, will be doubled, due to match funds provided by a group of our supporters and Big Give’s Champion partners. So, for example, a gift of £50 from a member of the public, becomes £100 donated to us.
Tuesday 2nd to Tuesday 9th December is the week of this year’s Big Give Christmas Challenge.
Our Chief Executive, Sarah Smithson, said,
This is the third year that we have participated in the Big Give. It’s a wonderful way of really maximising our supporters’ hard work in raising funds for us. I would encourage anyone thinking of holding a charity mini-fundraiser with their family, friends or workplace to consider taking part. It really will make a huge difference to us.
Anyone who is planning an event and would like to double the money raised will need to pay in via Big Give. If they contact us, we will give them the correct details to use and explain the process.
To enable us to maximise the funding received during this week of giving, we have several events planned with the support of our local communities across the North West. These include our annual Race Night on Friday 25th November, being held at Oldershaw Rugby Club and the Santa Dash in Liverpool on Sunday 7th November.
