A warm reception at both our centres, thanks to British Gas teams

Our outdoor areas at Wallasey and Runcorn have been transformed, once again thanks to the kind efforts of British Gas employees. Team members spent several gruelling hours putting up fabulous new fencing, clearing overgrown flowerbeds and generally giving the areas a wonderful overhaul. We now have a lovely garden seating area at Wallasey and the outdoor area at Runcorn is beautifully tidy once more.

British Gas team lead, Gareth Hennon, said afterwards,

On behalf of our entire team, I want to extend our deepest thanks for the opportunity to volunteer with your incredible charity across both your Wallasey and Runcorn sites over the past couple of years.

Our connection with Stick ‘n’ Step is one we hold very close to our hearts. Personally, I’ve seen the life-changing impact of your work through Alfie Richards, who attends Stick ‘n’ Step. The support you provide to Alfie and so many other children living with cerebral palsy is nothing short of inspiring.

We are proud to contribute in any way we can to help make your centres more welcoming and supportive for the 105 families you care for. It’s a privilege to be part of your mission, and we are committed to continuing our support in the future.
