The Great North Run 2023

The Great North Run is famous for its inclusive atmosphere, unbeatable on-route entertainment and warm Geordie welcome, not to mention the millions raised each year for worthy causes. From the rush of the Red Arrows flying overhead to the oggy-oggy-oggy chants, Great North Run magic can be hard to understand – until you’ve experienced it for yourself on the Newcastle to South Shields route.
It doesn’t matter whether you’re running to beat your personal best, to raise some cash for charity or simply for the pint at the end, you’re guaranteed a run like no other – and a finish line feeling you’ll never forget.
How to sign up?
There are two ways to run for Stick ‘n’ Step:
- Secure a Stick ‘n’ Step charity place – simply complete the form below and let us know that you would like a Stick ‘n’ Step charity place. There is a £30 registration fee and a £350 minimum sponsorship.
- Already have a place and would like to fundraise for Stick ‘n’ Step – complete the form below and let us know that you have already registered for the event and wish to fundraise for Stick ‘n’ Step, raising as much as you can.
How will we support you?
All runners taking part will be fully supported by the Stick ‘n’ Step Fundraising Team and receive a charity-branded t-shirt to wear proudly while doing their running challenge. The Fundraising Team will be here every step of the way to support you as you train and fundraise for the Great North Run.
Step up to the challenge for Stick ‘n’ Step and help make sure children and young people with cerebral palsy are supported in the Northwest.
