Charles Darwin once said “It is not the strongest or the most intelligent who will survive, but those who can best manage change

Change is something we welcome at Stick ‘n’ Step, it gives us a chance to adapt and grow, making us a more effective and resilient organisation. Change is very much on the horizon at the moment, as I will start my maternity leave this week, with Jenny Snell, our Head of Fundraising, stepping up into my role as CEO for the next year.

Amari, Becca, Sally, Jenny

On a personal level I am excited to meet my baby and to start my ‘new job’ as a Mummy. On a professional level, I am pleased to be handing over the reigns to Jenny, who I know will lead the organisation positively over the next year.

The last year has been a whirlwind, as a team we have dealt with so many challenges. The team have risen to each and every one, showing great resilience and determination throughout.

We are blessed with an incredible team who are passionate, committed, and downright brilliant at what they do, this is how I know I am leaving everything in safe hands.

I am looking forward to following Stick ‘n’ Step’s progress and the achievements of our children and young people on our social media, I’ll certainly be cheering from the side-lines, before I return later next year.
